Who Is In ‘Just Picture It’? Netflix’s Upcoming Rom-com Adds Stranger Things Star

Lately, Netflix has been on a roll, finally releasing the trailer for the final season of Stranger Things. However, the streamer is not relaxing as they have already announced their next project, Just Picture It, which is going to be a romcom. This is another intriguing addition to their collections of work and has been the newest work unveiled after Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, Virgin River Season 8, Alice in Borderland Season 3, and many more.

The upcoming film has already gained buzz around it for having big names already, which include its main cast and the director. What’s making the flick more interesting is that despite not having a release date, it’s gaining traction among the fans, and they keenly await further updates.

The Early Details of Netflix’s Just Picture It

Recently, Tudum by Netflix reported that the OTT platform is setting up a rom-com titled Just Picture It, which will feature Millie Bobby Brown and Gabriel LaBelle in the lead roles. The character names remained under the rug, but the report mentioned that the project will be directed under the vision of Lee Toland Krieger, and the screenplay has been written by Jesse Lasky.

The premise of the movie will be an intriguing one, where the stars will play the roles of two college students. One day their phone gets bugged out, which starts showcasing them pictures of themselves from a decade in the future, where the two are a “happily married couple with kids.”

The Netflix Original seems to be promising with an out-of-the-box plot, and the Enola Holmes actress sees its potential, making it her first rom-com flick. However, that’s not all because she will produce the project with Robert Brown for PCMA Production alongside Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum for RK Films.

The executive producers are Alyssa Altman from RK Films, Jake Bongiovi, Isobel Roberts from PCMA Productions, and David Kern. The movie is in its early stages of production, which hinders it from featuring any first looks at the work or sharing the release date.

Millie Bobby Brown Isn’t Ready to Part Ways with Stranger Things

Netflix has finally released the teaser trailer for the much-awaited Stranger Things Season 5, which promises doom for Hawkins as Vecna and his dark forces unleash the fury of the Upside Down. The trailer has been anything but boring and has once again left the fans excited, leaving them wondering who will not make it out alive in the two-part finale.

However, amidst the chills and excitement, Millie Bobby Brown, who has been portraying the role of Eleven since Season 1. With the end of the series closer than ever, the Damsel actress shared a video on Instagram via Radio Times, Brown was not ready to say goodbye to the show or her friends, calling it a “graduation.” She said,

Isn’t graduation supposed to bring relief, like you’re glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates? Not me. I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys. I love each and every one of you, and I’ll forever carry the memories and bonds we’ve created together as a family. I love you. Thank you.

Indeed, goodbyes will be hard as we have seen the cast members growing from shy kids to being industry favorites, which will leave us, viewers, in tears as well. Nevertheless, it will be intriguing to see how the party members will stand against the supernatural extinction.

With Millie Bobby Brown setting her eyes on Just Picture It, the flick might be onto something that turns heads and perhaps becomes Netflix’s next rom-com hit. Are you adding this movie to your watchlist? Let us know in the comments below!
