Who Will Play Gulshan Kumar?

The question now is, if Akshay Kumar is not playing Gulshan Kumar in the biopic then who is?

Aamir Khan’s name is floating around.

But it can be said with utmost certainty that he won’t play Gulshan Kumar.

Says a source close to the development, “Aamir loved the idea of doing a biopic on the music baron Gulshan Kumar. His fascinating life-journey and the manner in which he changed the course of the music industry.  Aamir immediately agreed to come on board as co-producer.”

Apparently, Aamir has agreed only to be a producer on the project along with Gulshan Kumar’s Son Bhushan Kumar.

However, the role of  Gulshan Kumar won’t be played by Aamir.

Says a source close to the development, “They are looking at Salman Khan or Ajay Devgan. It has to be an A-lister. Bhushan wants to immortalize his father through this biopic.”

The problem is there are grey areas in Gulshan Kumar’s biopic (for example, his alleged hand in popularizing music piracy). And the topnotch actors are wary of going there.
