So far Shah Rukh Khan has been a part of every season of Koffee With Karan. But this season, it seems unlikely. considering his somewhat strained relations with host Karan Joharand also the current deadlock in SRK’s career.
A source in the know informs, “Karan is very keen on have Shah Rukh on his show. But it seems unlikely that he will be able to persuade the Khan to do so this time. Shah Rukh is at the moment on a career-mending mission. You could say it is a transitional phase for the mega-star. At the moment he’d not like to say anything about his future. So what will they talk about on Koffee With Karan? Karan can’t do his usual smutty rapidfires on his mentor.”
Also, the source points out the strained relations between the two.
“Karan has been wooing all of SRK’s rivals, from Salman and Aamir to Akshay and Ajay(Devgan). They’ve all come on his show this season except Salman. And one hears that Salman will close this season of Koffee With Karan if SRK refuses to oblige.”
If Salman closes the current season of Karan’s show, there are doors that would automatically close on Karan’s face, all once leading to Mannat(Shah Rukh’s bungalow).
