Vijay Deverakonda , reeling under the impact of the Liger and its disastrous failure, is slowly picking up the pieces of his career. One of the biggest post-Liger breaks for the actor is Gautam Tinnanuri’s film which will feature Vijay as a cop for the first time.
Gautam Tinnanuri who has directed both the memorable Tamil and Hindi versions of the film Jersey says he is prepping for his untitled film with Deverakonda.
Shedding some light on the project, Tinnanuri says, “This movie is a period action drama, it’s about a cop who infiltrates into a gang and his ethical dilemma about what he does.”
Shooting begins shortly.
Says the director, “ We might start shoot in 2-3 months and shortlisted technicians and cast but haven’t finalized anyone.”
