WWE had struck a decade-long deal with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia back in 2018 to do multiple premium live events in the Middle Eastern nation. Now, the upcoming WrestleMania 43 is officially going to be held in Riyadh in 2027. Moreover, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, and President, Nick Khan, have landed a massive $350 million deal.
As reported by Paradigm Talent Agency’s Nick LoPiccolo, WWE will hold two of its big four PLEs, the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, in Saudi Arabia. Moreover, the Stamford-based promotion will be getting $100 million for the Rumble and $250 million for WM43.
This is a huge deal struck by the pro wrestling giant, which further adds to the giant profits WWE has been making lately. The 2025 Night of Champions was the last PLE held by the company in Saudi Arabia, which saw John Cena and CM Punk collide for the final time against each other. While this was nothing short of a blockbuster, the promotion will be sending a stacked contingent to Riyadh.

WWE Will Be Sending Its Biggest Names for the 2027 Royal Rumble and WrestleMania
WWE’s Crown Jewel premium live event happened exclusively in Saudi Arabia. This year, while the PLE will shift to Perth, Australia, the Middle Eastern nation has secured bigger treasure chests. According to a report by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a source in Saudi Arabia told them that The Rock and several other big names could be fighting at WrestleMania 43.
I can’t share with you the exact number, but WWE asked for a higher number than $100 million as the show will feature The Rock (if the agreement is reached) and will be a packed mega stars show, as the General Entertainment Authority requested.
The Stamford-based promotion’s other big names, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and more, will also likely be a part of WM43.
The deal for WWE WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia is worth well over $100 million.

Interestingly, this will be the first time that ‘Mania will be held outside of North America. 2002 saw WWE’s first-ever WrestleMania outside the US when the event was held in Toronto, Canada.
Triple H Heralds This Move As Another Step to Make WWE Global
Triple H announced Saudi Arabia as the destination for WrestleMania 43 on September 12, 2025, from Las Vegas. He was accompanied by Saudi Arabia’s royal adviser, Turki Al-Sheikh, while making the announcement. Speaking about WWE’s 2027 campaign in the Middle Eastern nation, ‘The Game’ said:
Thanks to our partners at the GAA (General Authority for Awqaf) and Riyadh Season, we could just not be more excited for this opportunity. This is an opportunity to show the world what I think most people already know — that WWE is a global brand that reaches every corner of the world and excites fans from everywhere.
Several other stars and legends were also in attendance for the announcement, including The Undertaker, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Seth Rollins, Stephanie Vaquer, and Shawn Michaels. Interestingly, WWE had already signed a $1 billion deal with Saudi Arabia in 2018 for a decade to conduct several of its premium live events in the country. Now, almost 35 percent of that sum has been secured by just two of its biggest draws, the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.
Last year, WWE also introduced the men’s and women’s Crown Jewel Championship. The world title holders of both RAW and SmackDown faced each other to win the inaugural title. Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther to become the inaugural men’s Crown Jewel Champion, while Liv Morgan defeated Nia Jax to become the inaugural Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.
While this is definitely good news for the company, it remains to be seen how this will pan out for the fans. The company has been facing criticism for its increased ticket prices, despite making a significant profit and selling out all of its shows. This is driving several loyal fans away from its product and moving to its competitor, All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Thus, while the company is climbing bigger ladders under the management of the TKO Group Holdings, it is also losing a sizeable chunk of its fanbase. Are you excited to watch the 2027 Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia?
