Yash Raj Films Succumbs To The OTT Lure, Signs Lucrative 4-film Deal With Amazon Prime

Aditya Chopra and Yash Raj Films had so far stayed away from the digital domain arguing that their films are designed specially for the big screen. But now in a significant move, Yash Raj has signed a 4-film deal with Amazon Prime video.

Prime Video becomes the exclusive worldwide streaming destination for Yash Raj Films’ next four massive theatrical releases—Bunty Aur Babli 2, Prithviraj, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and Shamshera.The titles will premiere on Prime Video just four weeks after their theatrical launch

Bunty Aur Babli 2 stars  Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and debutant Sharvar. Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt’s topline mega-action entertainer Shamshera. The  historical action spectacle Prithviraj based on the life of fearless King Prithviraj Chauhan stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Manushi Chhillar and Sonu Sood. Ranveer Singh helms the family entertainer with a powerful social message Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
