Country singer Miranda Lambert has given her signature blond locks the boot, at least temporarily.

On her Instagram account, the “Little Red Wagon” singer posted pictures of herself sporting long bright blue hair topped by a bright blue cowboy hat. The singer’s pants shimmered like mermaid scales, which was the look she was going for.

In the caption, Lambert explained, “Just old friends makin new memories.

Miranda is flanked on either side by “Junk Gypsies” Amie Sikes and Jolie Sikes-Smith, also decked out in mermaid-inspired finery. The designer duo is known to fans for their eclectic antiques and thrift finds.

Lambert was attending their annual “Under the Sea” Junk-O-Rama Prom” during “Texas Antiques Week at the famous Round Top Antiques Fair.

In Miranda’s post, the “Junk Gypsies” replied thanking fans for letting the singer be a “normal person” during her visit, writing, “🩵🧜‍♀️🤠🩵So glad us cowgirl mermaids got to add another adventure to the scrapbook. It’s getting REAL full! Also THANK YOU to all our amazing friends & customers that let Miranda be a “normal” person and just have fun at prom! We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, our customers are THE BEST!!!”

And that’s a big ask in a big crowd. According to Round Top’s website, every spring, fall and winter, more than one-hundred thousand shoppers from all over the country and world visit Round Top, Texas, which normally boasts a population of just 90 people.

Meanwhile, Miranda’s fans were here for the blue hair and mermaid/cowgirl mash up.

One commented, “Those sure are three cute mermaids,” while another fan said, “Miranda the country queen 💐🤠”

Miranda Lambert’s Round Top Stop Fits In With Tour Schedule

Miranda was able to hit the Junk Gypsies’ “Junk-O-Rama Prom” just before a scheduled tour date in Georgetown, Texas April 5 at the Two Step Inn.

The singer will hit the road with Morgan Wallen for his “I’m the Problem” tour this summer. Lambert will open for Wallen at ten of his 19 tour stops across the country and in Canada.

Lambert will be supporting her latest album, “Postcards from Texas,” which debuted at number one last September on the iTunes chart according to “Forbes.”

But she’s also celebrating a milestone. It’s been 20 years since Lambert took country music by storm with the fiery release of her hit album “Kerosene.” To mark the anniversary, Lambert has just released the 20-year-old album on vinyl for the first time ever, adding a never-before released track from the original album sessions called “I Don’t Love Here Anymore,” according to “Music Row.
