Joshua Morrow reflects on aftermath of Nick and Sharon’s kiss on The Young and the Restless
Joshua Morrow recently spoke to Soap Opera Digest about the relationship between Sharon and Nick, especially after the tense events that occurred in the previous episodes. From Sharon’s kidnapping to the murder accusations against Nick, things haven’t been this intense in their lives for a while.
But these recent events brought them closer, eventually leading to the kiss in the July 28 episode. However, the tough situations perhaps make it seem like the two are getting closer than they actually are. Morrow asked fans not to get their hopes up in his latest interview with Soap Opera Digest.
“They have to talk about it later and sort of assess where things are with them,” Morrow told Soap Opera Digest, “It’s not to the place that particular fan base is screaming for yet, but it could happen… We’ll see.”
But he added that the couple was moving on the right path. He said, “I mean, they’ve got to like what they’re seeing so far as far as them reconnecting in that way,” he continued, “They sort of settled into a nice, easy, friendly parenting role… I think they both are sort of careful. They’ve been down this path, and if it does go the way it sort of looks like it’s going, I think they want to make sure that everybody’s in the right headspace and they’re comfortable and ready. So I don’t think it’s anything that’s going to be rushed, but who knows?”
Morrow also admitted that the future would be tough for the couple. Whenever they flow in the right direction, something bad happens. It is usually Nick who is at fault.
Regardless of this, the couple coming back together could be a significant development. Only the future episodes of Young and Restless will reveal more about this.
