Young & Restless: Kyle & Claire Actors Talk Wedding Plans for Their Characters

Michael Mealor and Hayley Erin, who play Kyle and Claire, respectively, on The Young and the Restless, seem compatible even outside the screen. Michael Mealor wants Kyle and Hayley Erin’s Claire to get married

Claire Newman and Kyle Abbott’s relationship on The Young and the Restless started well, also providing a lot of drama for the viewers.

Now, with Victor being a huge hurdle in the couple’s path, Kyle has taken up more responsibility. He wants to stand out and do better for Claire. When asked if he heard wedding bells in he future, Mealor said, “Let’s be honest, I want it to happen because I don’t want to stop working with Hayley. She’s fun to work with.” Meanwhile, his co-star Hayley Erin, sharing his point of view, added, “Likewise. I feel very fortunate that from very early on in my time on the show, I’ve had Michael as a scene partner. He’s just so professional, always prepared, and it’s so much fun. So I feel very fortunate.”

In the same interview, the two actors discussed many more things, including how they bonded well because of their shared sense of humor. Mealor and Erin’s chemistry off-screen is perhaps enough to see why they want their characters to go all the way.
