Claire and Victoria are summoned to the hospital. Cole is glad to see them as they arrive right on time before he takes his last breath. Devastated, Victoria starts crying, whereas Claire is unable to digest the news and refuses to say a last goodbye. However, Cole makes her understand to stop being in denial as he doesn’t have much time on hand.

Claire insists that he stay, but Cole mentions that his physical health has given up on him. She replies that maybe she could talk to the doctor and find a way out. However, Cole asks her to stay as he is afraid that he won’t be alive till the time she’s back. These heartbreaking words cut deep as she begs Cole to stay and not give up on his life.
