Yun Ji On‘s next K-drama will reportedly be the webtoon-based K-drama Positively Yours.
On July 3, media outlets reported that Yun Ji On is positively considering starring in the upcoming K-drama Positively Yours.
Positively Yours will tell the story of a woman who becomes pregnant after a one-night affair with a stranger. The father’s baby happened to be the company’s chairman, and he demanded marriage. The story will be depicted from the webtoon of the same name, which is not only popular in Korea but also overseas. Instead of the school setting of the original webtoon, the K-drama will use the large company setting to show a more colorful story.
According to reports, Yun Ji On will portray the role of Lee Min Wook. He is the childhood friend of Jang Hui Won, the female lead.
Last month, Choi Jin Hyuk and Oh Yeon Seo also received the offer to portray the role of the main leads. Both Choi Jin Hyuk and Oh Yeon Seo are positively reviewing the offer. Meanwhile, Yun Ji On’s side hasn’t released their official statement about his casting.
Meanwhile, Positively Yours will reportedly premiere within the year. The filming of the K-drama is expected to begin after the production team has finalized the casting.
If Yun Ji On confirms his casting, this will be his follow-up work after the hit K-drama Love Next Door. In the series, viewers praised his great chemistry with actress Kim Ji Eun.
