Zee Tv actor’s Holi quotes

Karan Jotwani who plays Sahil in Zee TV’s Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se said,  “This year, I won’t be playing Holi but instead will simply spend the evening with my family and enjoy the day. I fondly remember my childhood days when the entire family would come together at night before lighting the Holika and I am looking forward to that this year as well. I would like to wish all my fans a very happy, peaceful and safe Holi.”

Akshay Mhatre who plays Naren in Zee TV’s Piyaa Albela said“During my childhood days, Holi would mean war between two residential societies, where we would start preparations a week in advance. We would fill water balloons and stock up on colours so that we wouldn’t fall short of what we rightly called ammunition, on the day of Holi. This year, I am looking forward to celebrating Holi with my entire Piyaa Albela family. I would also like to wish everyone a very safe and Happy Holi!”

Sheen Das who plays Pooja in Zee TV’s Piyaa Albela said“I always celebrate Holi with members of my residential society, where we burn the Holika and enjoy the true spirit of the festival. Moreover, a day prior to the festival we always create a beautiful Rangoli and, on the day of Holi, we play with natural colours and enjoy the festival. I would like to wish all my fans a very happy Holi and hope that this festival of colours brings colour and joy to everyones life.”

Sahil Uppal who plays Virat in Zee TV’s Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre said, I have quite a few crazy memories related to Holi. I still remember how my friends and I used to gang up against other residents of our society and indulge in water balloon fights. I miss visiting my grandmother’s place where she along with my mother would cook mouth-watering food, especially gujiya for me. Ever since I have started working on television, there has always been a Holi sequence where I get a chance to play Holi on the sets. This time too, I will be playing Holi for Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre, so I would prefer resting and enjoying the day in the comfort of my house.”

Manasi Salvi who plays the role of Nisha in Zee TV’s Woh Apna Sa said, “For me, the years spent as a child playing Holi with my sister will always remain memorable; the pre- Holi preparations, the fascination with owning a fancy Pichkari and playing with water balloons. I remember how, as a precaution, my mother used to oil our hair and face, and my dad used to make us wear swimming glasses; my sister and I always ended up looking like two sci fi kids in the entire clan. But as I grew up, Holi  became more precious as the entire family gets together to light up the Holika, pray together and offer a coconut to the fire. Another great memory of Holi, for me, is playing Holi on the sets of my shows, It’s more fun than work. And at the end of the shoot, we usually catch hold of one actor and dunk him/her in a tub of water. But, I am glad that over the years we are changing, and today Holi is more organic and safer with dry and natural colours!”

Aditi Sharma who plays the role of Meera in Zee TV’s Kaleerein said, “My most memorable Holi was, as a teenager, when I had gone to my relative’s farm house along with my friends to play Holi throughout the day. It was like a big private affair with loud music, tasty food and a variety of organic colors. I also recall taking Holi colours, secretly, in my school bag and playing with my childhood friend in school a day before the festival. This year, it will be my first Holi on the sets of my show, Kaleerein and I am really looking forward to it.”

Manit Joura who plays Rishabh in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya said, “For me, no festival is complete without my family and Imake it a point to be with them during all the major festivals. I especially love celebrating Holi with my family and thoroughly enjoy the food, the sweets, and the festivities to the fullest. I have some great childhood memories as we used to celebrate Holi in a big way. My grandfather used to do our tilak with chandan, followed by fun and games. This year, my parents will be visiting me from Delhi to celebrate Holi with me and I am really looking forward to it. Further, on Kundali Bhagya, we have been shooting for a week-long Holi celebrations episode and I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it as I have made very special bonds on-set. Moreover, I would like to wish my fans and all the viewers of Kundali Bhagya a very happy and safe Holi.”
