Scoop: Ajay Devgan To Appear As Singham In Ranveer’s Simmba

This  has  got to  be the  most inviting  guest appearance in  recent times. Ajay Devgan who has played  the  eponymous  Singham  the franchise directed  by  Rohit Shetty, will now be seen  playing the same  hotheaded  cop in Shetty’s  Simmba.

 Simmba has  Ranveer Singh playing a volatile cop.Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan  makes her debut in the  film.

Devgan  is one of  Rohit Shetty’s closest friends   in the  film industry. They have collaborated in  10 feature films so far , including the eminently   successful Gol Maal and Singham series.

It is  no surprise if Devgan  sportingly agreed  to make  a guest appearance in Rohit Shetty’  second film so far to not feature Devgan in the lead. Chennai Express (starring Shah Rukh Khan) was  the first. Now  there  is Simmba where Rohit Shettyteams  up with Ranveer Singh for the  first time.

That the collaboration is done  with Devgan’s blessings is  proven  by his presence  in Simmba.

Interestingly Simmba is  produced Karan  Johar, Devgan’s wife Kajol’s friend-turned-foe-turned-friend-again.
