Sidharth Malhotra Admits Aashiqui 3 Is On the Anvil

Sidharth Malhotra is going  to be doing the third part of the Aashiqui franchise. So far it has only been hearsay.

But now the actor admits, “Yes I’ve been offered Aashiqui 3.It’s a germ of an idea right now.But a gem of an idea. I am yet to read the script.But the concept is appealing.”

Director Mohit Suri, reeling under the debacle of Hamari Adhuri Kahani is said to be penning a contemporary love story with lots of music.But as far as the casting goesSidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt are already on board for the project which is likely to take off some time in the middle of 2017.

Says a source close to the development, “Aashiqui 3 would again be a tragic love story, just like Aashiqui 2. Music will again play an important part in the film. The protagonist in both the first and second Aashiqui was a singer.So Alia who likes to sing, just may play a singer in the third part.”

Sidharth we are told would be featured in an “intensely romantic and passionate avatar”.

Can’t wait to see where this goes.
