Prabhudheva To Team up With Prabhas

Prabhudheva and Prabhas share more just the ‘P’s (in their names) and queues (in the theatres). They’ve been close friends  for many years.

And now Prabhu is all set to finally direct his friend, as soon as Prabhas’ current project Saaho is done.

Says Prabhu warmly, “Prabhas is a dear friend. I’ve known  him from the time time he entered Tamil-Telugu cinema. In fact he sportingly did a cameo appearance in my Hindi film Action Jackson. I’d love to direct him. But not like …as if just because Baahubali has happened.”

Awkward to dip his hand into the Baahubali lake Prabhu  wanted to wait until Prabhas was free.

“No point  in just doing a film together because it makes business sense. I have been thinking of doing a film with Prabhas for while now. Right now he’s busy with his next Telugu film Saaho. We will do our film together after that,” says Prabhu.

He is all praise for the Saaho director. “Sujeeth is just  a boy. But his first film Run Raja Run was so much fun.There are lots of really good young directors emerging from the South.”
