Babumoshai Bandookbaaz: The Cuts Ordered Will Shock You!!!

Love Making & Kissing Scenes Ordered Reduced  By 80 Percent…

Kushan Nandy’s dark and savage satire on the sexual and action adventures of a contract killer  in Babumoshai Bandookbaaz  has met with a barrage  of cuts at the Censor Board Of Film Certification.

While  granting the film an ‘A’ certificate but only if producer Kiran Shyam Shroff agrees to remove large  chunks of  “absuve words , copulation scenes and smooching scenes,the CBFC ordered multiple cuts.

These cuts include 5 lengthy scenes of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his co-star Bidita Bag love—making where they are shown heaving and thrusting violently for many minutes each.

Nawaz’s love making aspirations have all been nipped in the bud by the Examining Committee of the CBFC , as it has ordered “humping during love-making”(to quote the CBFC directive) to be cut by 80 percent.

CBFC sources say the love-making scenes are  “graphic to the point of being pornographic”. In one of his many love-making scenes with Bidita Bag Nawaz is seen biting Bidita’s lips.This left the CBFC board members biting their own lips.

The CBFC has also asked for the removal of innumerable abuses which include repeated use of unparliamentary Hindi expletives like “Bahenc…d”, “ga.d” , “chutiyapa” and   “ghanta”

These, says CBFC sources, have been  used innumerable times  .

They have also asked for the removal of  some specially offensive dialogues like,   “Madame ka kapda khol kar jamkar maalish karo”,  “jissko sehlaakar bada kiya ussine pichware mein ghusa diya”  and “Tumhare honth vaise bhi laal hai…Kaun Se? Dono”.

Rather than  accept the large number  of cuts or go to the CBFC’s Revising Committee, the makers of Babumoshai Bandookawala have gone straight to the Tribunal.
