Padmavati Controversy: Sanjay Leela Bhansali Clarifies His Stand

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s forthcoming Padmavati which opens on Decemeber 1 has been mired in  unnecessary  controversy ever  since  some mischievous and  bored journalist wrote there was  a ‘dream sequence’ between Rani Padmavati and  her invader and tormentor  Allauddin Khilji. Bhansali and  his team  have been going blue in the face denying the existence  of such a sequence. He now puts out a video pledging his art to upholding the izzat and marayada of  the  revered Rani.
