No PC For SRK…Here’s Why Priyanka Chopra Is Out Of  The Rakesh Sharma Bio-Pic

It was  going to be the casting coup of  the year. Aamir Khan and Priyanka Chopra together for the  first time.

But fate willed otherwise. Aamir  decided  to opt  out  of  the Rakesh Sharma bio-pic to focus on his adaptation  of the Mahabharat. Shah Rukh Khan came into the  picture on Aamir’s insistence.

This  is when Priyanka too had  to go out.

A  source firmly clued  into the development informs, “It’s quite elementary, really. Priyankaand Shah Rukh do not work together.It is a casting taboo that the whole industry knows. When Aamir was replaced by Shah Rukh in the Rakesh Sharma  bio-pic Salute, Priyanka  had to go too.”

It is for this reason  that Priyanka is also unlikely to be seen  in the third  part of  the Donseries.

Says a  source close to the project, “No matter what they say, the fact is  the Don team, that is producers Ritesh Sidhwani and  director Farhan Akhtar are on the look-out for a replacement for Priyanka for the  third  film in  the Don series.”

It’s sad that in spite of her international stardom Priyanka  seems  to be jobless back home.
