Aditi Rao Gets A Day Off From Bhansali On Her Birthday
Aditi Rao who turned a year older on Saturday got an unexpected holiday on her birthday
“I was supposed to shoot with Sanjay Sir(Bhansali) for Padmavati. But my shooting got cancelled. So I suddenly had a full day to myself. It was the best birthday possible. I got to spend time with close friends and I took my team out for dinner. They are my family away from my home in Hyderabad,” says Aditi.
Mumbai, admits Aditi, can get awfully lonely for an outsider like her. “I don’t socialize . I don’t party . I don’t have too many friends in the film industry. My family lives in Hyderabad. So yeah, it does get lonely. My team is my family in Mumbai. I liked spending time on my birthday with them.”
On her career front Aditi looks forward to the release of Padmavati where she has a guest appearance as Ranvir Singh’s Significant Other.
“It’s not a major role. When I signed on for Padmavati, I knew very well it was going to be a small part. But Sanjay Sir presents all his women so well. In Ram Leela Richa Chadha had a brief role. But she made an impact. I am sure I will leave some impact in Padmavati. No one who works with Sanjay Sir comes away without benefiting from the association,” says Aditi who wants only one thing in life.
“I want to be happy in what I do. I don’t want to work with people who spread negative vibes.”
