Aishwarya Rai Steps Into Sadhana’s Spirit

The remake of  Woh Kaun Thi just got more interesting, what with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stepping to Sadhana’s role of the spirit who is as much haunting as she is haunted.

A source from the production house says we couldn’t imagine anyone but Aishwarya stepping into Sadhana’s role.

“The female lead in Woh Kaun Thi has to be an ethereal beauty,a wandering spirit looking for love. And she has to looking convincing giving face to Lataji’s Naina barse rim jhim and Lag ja gale se. We couldn’t imagine anyone but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the role,” says the source.

It was always a toss-up among Aishwarya, Madhuri and Deepika for Sadhana’s role. Aishwarya finally had an edge because of her personality-proximity to Sadhana .

 Aishwarya is very excited about playing the role that the legendary Sadhana took to iconic heights in  Woh Kaun Thi.
