Ankur Bhatia Signed To Play Shraddha Kapoor’s Husband

 The New York-based Indian actor Ankur Bhatia who played Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s husband in Sarbjit , has now been signed to play Shraddha Kapoor’s husband in ApoorvaLakhia’s Hasina.

Interestingly both the films are real-life stories .  While Sarbjit was  the story of DalbirKaur the doughty sister of Sarbjit Singh who fought a long battle for the release of her brother from a Pakistani jail, Hasina is the story of Hasina Parkar , sister of DawoodIbrahim.

Speaking of his role, Ankur Bhatia says, “I am super-excited to work with Shraddha as I think she’s an immensely talented actress.I’ve been longing to work with Apoorva Lakhiaand I’m so glad he gave me the opportunity.”

Incidentally Hasina Parkar’s husband Ibrahim Parkar was exactly the same height as AnkurBhatia. “I play a tall Pathan character who is filled with joie de vivre. I am really excited to play this part,” enthuses Ankur.
