Ashwini Iyer Tiwari On Why She Opted Out Of Ayushmann Starrer

Apparently it was Ashwini whose husband Nitesh Tiwari has directed the new AamirKhan starrer Dangal, opted out of  the next Aanand Rai production Manmarziyaanfeaturing Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pedneker leading to much bad blood between the producer and his protégée.

But the softspoken Ashwini who is currently shooting Bareilly Ki Barfi with  Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon dispels all rumours of a rift with her mentor.

Explains Ashwini,  “Both Bareilly Ki Barfi and  Manmarziyaan happened in my  life simultaneously.Since Aanand Sir also had to deliver the film in the first-half of the next year we mutually decided that I  direct one   of the two films .Since Bareilly Ki Barfi was all set to go on the floors we decided I should do this one(Bareilly…). Aanand Sir and I are definitely  working together in the future for the love of making films and because of the marvellous  equation that we share.”
