Boney Kapoor Confirms Daughter Jahnavi To Be Launched By Karan Johar

It’s time for a new breed of talent to explode on screen. The stunning Sridevi’s daughter is all set to follow in her illustrious mother’s footsteps.

Jahnavi Kapoor is finally all set to make her acting debut,and that too in a film to be produced by Karan Johar. Unconfirmed reports insist  the very pretty star-daughter is being launched by Karan Johar in the Hindi remake  of the Marathi milestone blockbuster Sairat.

Confirming this welcome development Jahnavi’s father producer Boney Kapoor said, “Yes, Karan Johar has been talking to us about a film for Jahanvi and we’ve given our consent. But we don’t know which project it would be. Since Karan has recently acquired remake of rights of Sairat it is being presumed that our daughter would be launched in this project.”

Speculation about Jahnavi’s career has been building up for the last three years. Some time back when I had spoken to Sridevi about the same she had said, “It’s too early for her to decide a career. Let her study, enjoy life. I missed out on the fun  side of growing because I was  busy in the studios. I want my children to enjoy every phase of their  life.”

Now proud father Boney says Jahnavi is ready for a film career. “I see in my  daughter the same focus and concentration on her chosen career as her mother. It’s never easy for star kids to make a place for themselves as they are  invariably compared with their legendary parents.I hope Jahanvi won’t be compared with her mother.”
