Deepika Has Not Upset Ranveer ..Her Solo Presence At 3D Launch Was Planned!

To insinuate a rift between Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh as she attended the 3D trailer launch solo of Padmavati without her co-stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor is not only far-fetched but also mischievous.

A source close to filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali completely debunks the speculation over the purported rift. “Firstly, Deepika is not some riffraff that she would show up unscheduled at an event. Her appearance at the Padmavati trailer was planned. Secondly, neither Ranveer nor Shahid were meant to be present at the event. In fact Deepika will not be seen at any event with Ranveer , as they play antagonists in Padmavati and do not have a single shot together.And thirdly,Sanjay Bhansali has nothing to do with the personal equation between Deepika and Ranveer. He did not shoot with them together at all for Padmavati. And their relationship cannot affect Padmavati at all.”

Having said this another source adds that the rift theory is completely concocted. “Ranveer and Deepika are very much friends. There is no rift at all.”
