Govinda Incensed Over Kartik’s Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare

Govinda is not amused  with what Kartik Aryan  has done  to the iconic Ankhiyon se goli mare  song  from  his 1998  hit Dulhe Raja.

The remix version filmed  on  Kartik Aryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey for the film Pati Patni Aur Woh has  not  gone down well with Govinda’s fans many of whom have lashed out at  what they as a desecration of  the  original song.

Govinda has decided to  stay out of  any public  comment on the  issue.

“He doesn’t want to give the remixed any added publicity,” says a  close  friend  of  Govinda. “But he is  not flattered. Far from  it. Kartik Aryan and  the girls(Bhumi, Ananya) seem clueless  about the pace and rhythm of  the song,” says  the friend.

Govinda feels today’s generation  of stars don’t feel  the music.

“Govinda feels they  dance  mechanically, without feeling. One has  to  feel the music. He can’t see any feeling in  the way his  songs are done,” says  the  friend.

The strangest thing , and the  one thing that others Govinda the most is the  lack of acknowledgement  for  the original song, “Ankhiyon se goli mare  involved a lot of talent besides  Govinda  and Raveena Tandon. They should be acknowledged.”
