Katrina Kaif Or Deepika Padukone? Kabir Khan’s Dilemma

Kabir Khan is in a dilemma regarding the leading lady of his film Tubelight. While he’d like to cast his dear friend Katrina Kaif , Salman Khan who everyone knows  calls the shots when it comes to the cast and crew of his films, is apparently keen on Deepika Padukone in the film.

Says a source, “While  Kabir would like to cast his pal Katrina—who incidentally is also  Salman’s pal—whomKabir has worked with earlier in New York, Ek Tha Tiger and Phantom, Salman has been getting feelers fromDeepika .He feels an untried fresh pair at this point of time would make  more sense.”

There is also the widespread belief in the trade that Katrina and Salman on screen together would hardly ignite the boxoffice.

Kabir, however, feels he needs to stand by Katrina at this juncture in her life when she’s trying to regain the ground she lost while looking into her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor.

It remains to be seen which way the winds finally blows.
