‘Lady Superstar’—that’s how Nayanthara is addressed in Tamil Nadu—is all set to tie the knot on June 9 at Mahabalipuram with her boyfriend filmmaker Vignesh Shivan . Only close relatives are invited.
The wedding was all but finalized at Tirupathi when the law enforcement agencies informed the couple that a temple wedding at such a crowded venue could pose a serious security hazard .
“The wedding had to be relocated at the last minute, much to Nayanthara’s disappointment.She was really keen on a Tirupathi wedding,” a co-star informs me.
Apparently Nayanthara will go through an additional small wedding ceremony at Tirupathi away from the paparazzi’s prying clicks.
