Parineeti Turns Down Karan Johar

This  may sound absurdly improbable, considering her career is now in the poised-for-takeoff-again mode. But  showbiz  is often composed  of the strangest narrative. And  this may seem  stranger than fiction.

 But Parineeti Chopra actually said  no to a Karan  Johar film.

And we are’t speaking of a mere Karan Johar production. It was  film directed by the superstar-director himself.But Parineeti had good reason to  say no to Karan Johar.

Says a source from Dharma, “It’s true Karan offered Parineeti Chopra a film. But it was  the lead in a short film that Karan is directing for producer Ashi Dua for Bombay Talkies 2.”

In 2013 Karan Johar had directed a segment of Bombay Talkiesentitled Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh with Rani Mukherjee and RandeepHooda . When he was all set to do a sequel he approached Parineeti.

 After she said no, the role has gone to Kiara Advani.

Says  an informed source, “Parineeti doesn’t even want to talk about this. She  is dead set  on working with Karan Johar. But in a full –length feature film.”

 But we wonder . Having said no to the short film would Karan Joharever consider Parineeti for anything else?
