Rajeev Khandelwal ‘Bourne’ Again With Bond Girl Caterina Mourino By His Side

What went wrong with Rajeev Khandelwal’s career? Good screen presence, reliable acting chops(have you seen him in Aamir ,Shaitaan and Soundtrack?)…complete hero material. Still nothing happened.

Not yet.Now he’s back in a very Robert Ludlum kind of thriller called Fever directed by Rajeev Jhaveri ,which opens on July 22. It has Khandelwal as an assassin who loses his memory. Luckily he doesn’t seem to lose his ability to lock lips with luscious ladies. In the trailer we see him biting off  Gauhar Khan’s lips and also getting facially familiar with a stunner who looks suspiciously like Cateria Murino, the James Bond girl from CasinoRoyale in 2006.

And surprise surprise, it is really Murino with Khandelwal! Just how he convinced her to be part of this desithriller is another story altogether. Suffice it to say Khandewal looks confident making love to the sexy MsMurino. He also has the British actress Gemma Atkinson who plays Lisa Hunter in the ongoing series Hollyoaks.

It looks like Rajeev Khandelwal is the first Bollywood  leading man to romance international actresses of some renown. Aamir Khan had  the unknown Alice Patten in  Rang De Basanti and Hrithik Roshan had the known-in-Mexico Barbara Mori in Kites.
