Sachin Tendulkar Does Bio-Pic For Free, Release Date Hinges On  Dhoni Success

As the Dhoni bio-pic Dhoni The Untold Story which has opened worldwide to a roaring approval , the next cricketing legend’s bio-pic on the line is that of Sachin Tendulkar who has agreed to be part of a bio-pic on his life.

And Sachin has  not charged  a single penny for participating in Sachin A Billion Dreams .

Says a source close to the project, “The film is produced by Sachin’s friend Ravi Bhagchandka. Sachin couldn’t dream of charging any money from him. Not only did Sachin agree to open the vaults of his life’s experience to his bio-pic team he also persuaded his son to play the young Sachin on screen.”

Now the release date of Sachin: A Billion Dreams hinges on the fate of Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Says a source, “Sachin’s film would be an immediate beneficiary of  the success of the Dhoni bio-pic. The producers of Sachin A Billion Dreams will release their film to ride on the euphoria created by the Dhoni film.”

Considering that Sachin Tendulkar is a far bigger cricketing legend than M.S Dhoni and also considering that Sachin stars in his bio-pic while Dhoni doesn’t, there is absolutely no reason for the makers of the Sachin film to feel insecure.
