Siddharth Malhotra Celebrates Birthday In Hyderabad Shooting A Webseries

Is  the OTT  Siddharth Malhotra’s  saviour? Shershaah  in 2021 got him recognition as an actor for the first time. It  was the kind of break that  came to  Malhotra  at  a time when  all his  big-screen potboilers had some and gone without a whimper.

In 2022 Malhotra had Thank You  which he insisted was  a big-screen experience. Cinema audiences disagreed. They rejected this outdated film directed by  Indra Kumar whose  style of filmmaking echoes an obsolete era,  without a  second  thought.

 Now Siddharth  Malhotra has another premiere on  OTT on January 20. In Mission Majnu on Netflix Malhotra plays an emotionally and  culturally  torn  RAW agent sent  across the border as  a spy. Malhotra  plays the duel personality of  two  lives lived by one individual,  with  understanding  and sensitivity.

 Malhotra Is  now in Hyderabad for his birthday shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Indian Armed Force  a webseries for  Amazon Prime  video.

We’ve seen Akshay  Kumar  and Salman Khan hitting roadblocks on the streaming platform. Will  Siddharth  Malhotra be  the first Bollywood star  to crossover  successfully  into  the digital domain?
