Sreeleela’s No To  Varun Dhawan, Yes  To  Kartik Aaryan

The Telugu dancing sensation Sreeleela  known  to ignite the screen alongside some  of  the  biggest  superstars of Andhra Pradesh  will now be making her Hindi debut with Kartik Aaryan in Anurag Basu’s intense love  story which  is  NOT  titled Aashiqui.

   Some months  ago Varun Dhawan and his father David Dhawan, as well as  producer Ramesh Taurani  were  very keen  to  get Sreeleela on board  for their new Hindi comedy. Initially Sreeleela agreed. But then she got to know there was another  heroine in the film. Her role  seemed too marginal for  a proper Bollywood debut.So she  politely opted  out. Now they’ve replaced her with Pooja Hegde.

  Producer Taurani denies he ever approached Sreeleela.  The  truth is,they wanted her to be part  of the  film.Looks like  Sreeleela has finally found a project that  will do justice to her.

A  source from Hyderabad reveals, “Sreeleela  didn’t know  much about the Hindi film industry when she  said yes to David Dhawan’s film with Varun Dhawan. She was  advised against starting her career with a lighthearted  film. She waited for something  more serious to come her way.”
