War Brewing Between Deepika & Priyanka?

Those oh-so-sweet declarations of dosti between the two desi divas Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone seems to be a thing of the past.

The cold vibes between the two was very clearly to be seen in Madrid where they attended an awards function recently.According to eyewitnesses the two gal pals who hit it off big time-time during the shooting of Bajirao Mastani barely exchanged a hello  in Madrid.

An actor who saw the mutual snub first-hand says, “It was very obvious for everyone to see that  Priyanka andDeepika were avoiding one another. I had heard they were thick as thieves on Bhansali’s set. So what happened?”

Some serious probing reveals a growing chasm between the two lovely ladies induced by Deepika’s decision to go West.

Says a source in the know, “Clearly Priyanka thought she’d be Bollywood  female face in Hollywood afterAishwarya Rai Bachchan. But then Deepika sneaked into the American Dream with XXX. Now their respective films Priyanka’s Baywatch and Deepika’s XXX are expected to be out at around the same time. Since there is just so much space in Hollywood for a Bollywood  beauty the two will be vying for the same parts in the US.”

According to insiders Deepika who on the surface looks less of a go-getter than Priyanka will give her international career all she’s got. Both the ladies are cutting down on their work in Mumbai to spend time in LA. Both have a team in the US to get them the roles they want.

In the coming months , the Priyanka-Deepika race to conquer the West will intensify.May the better woman win.
