Washing Powder Ad Dirties Akshay Kumar’s Image

No Good  Newzz  in 2020 either for Akshay. In 2019 Akshay Kumar  was  brutally  trolled  for  various reasons including his  Canadian citizenship . It looks  like 2020 too has  begun on a  sour note for Akshay, with  a huge  controversy now  surrounding an ad that  Akshay shot  for a detergent powder(Nirma) where he’s shown  dressed as a Maratha warrior washing his clothes after a  dirty battle.

 Outraged  sections of  people on  social media  have asked for  a  boycott of the  detergent powder.

While Akshay has declined  any comment  so far close friends say he will  issue  a public apology  soon for  hurting  public sentiments.

A  prominent  filmmaker who was attacked recently for , you  guessed it,  hurting  public sentiments,   says  apologies have become a way  of life for the film industry.

“That’s all we  seem to  be doing all the  time.Apologizing. Because somewhere  or the other someone or the  other is   bound to get hurt by  everything we  do,” says  the  filmmaker.

A friend of Akshay says, “He  didn’t even  dream that the ad would cause any offence. Since  last year Akshay is being constantly attacked for the  most improbable reasons.”

In the  meanwhile  sources say the  detergent ad  is being withdrawn from public space.
