Whom To Expect At Sonam Kapoor’s Wedding

Sonam Kapoor’s wedding with Anand Ahuja is a week away.And the invitations have been sent out to some of the closest friends of the Kapoors including Anupam & Kirron  Kher, Shabana Azmi & Javed Akhtar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra & wife Bharti, Jackie & Ayesha Shroff, Sanjay Leela  Bhansali.

From among Sonam’s colleagues  from the film  industry Jacqueline Fernandez, Swara Bhaskar and  the cast of  Sonam’s  new filmVeere Di wedding  are expected to  show up in  full force.

In addition  all of Anil Kapoor’s  brothers and their family are expected to attend. Boney, however will not  participate in the celebrations.There are rumours floating around that Anil’s lately-bereaved  brother Boney’s daughters will be dancing to their deceased mother’s songs.

Don’t believe these  myths being created to hack-access Sonam’s  secret marriage.

A  friend on the invitees’ limited list says the wedding would be “extremely lowkey.” There will apparently  be around 300-350 guests.

Says the friend, “Sonam wanted  it  even more lowkey. But Anil and Sunita  have spent close to 35 years  in  the  film industry. They can’t  leave out their close friends, of which there many .”

One  of  the  invitees told me, “We haven’t been served  a detailed  itinerary  for the 2-day wedding.All we’ve been  told  is to be there  at the venue on May 7 & 8.We’ve also been requested  not to share any of the details with any mediaperson.So I don’t know why  I am having this  conversation with  you.”
