A Week More Of Shooting,& Gangubai Kathiawadi Is Complete

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest  opus Gangubai Kathiawadi is nearly complete.  Last week the  director took a  few days off while his leading Alia Bhatt  went on a rejuvenating  vacation.

 The  final shooting stint resumes this week .

 A  source  in the know  informs, “Alia was  exhausted  from shooting non-stop every night for  Gangubai. Not that she  ever complained. But it was SLB  who  suggested she take  a few days off.To do so at this juncture when the  film is nearly complete  required  a lot of guts. But  Sanjay is very happy with  Alia’s level of commitment. She  reaches the set an hour before shooting starts  and begins  work on her lines.”

SLB is now eyeing an Eid 2021 release for Gangubai Kathiawadi.
