Bollywood Supports Anurag Kashyap Completely

 When  avant garde director Anurag Kashyap was  suddenly accused  of  sexual misconduct he  could have  never imagined the  volume of  support that he would get from the  film industry.

 There was some talk in the industry on Monday  of Anil  Kapoor opting  put  of  his  Kashyap project Allwyn Kallicharan. But it turned  out to be  completely false.

“The  project is  very much on. I don’t think  anyone  in  the  film industry believes  Anurag to be guilty.Even those who are not coming  out  in open support  are  talking among themselves  about a  frame-up. The Anurag Kashyap  that the  film industry knows  is not capable of  such misconduct , ” a filmmaker-friend of Kashyap tells me.

There are  many conspiracy theories  doing the  rounds in Bollywood on why  Kashyap finds himself in this mess. While many feel he’s paying the price for his political outspokenness ,  some  well-informed sources are whispering about a  former associate whom Kashyap had protested against when this associate had been accused  of  sexual misconduct.

“We cannot rule  out the revenge angle,” one of Kashyap’s friends  whispers  .
