Prime Video and Excel Media & Entertainment today announced that the highly anticipated third season of Amazon Original series Inside Edge will premiere globally on 3 December 2021. Created by Karan Anshuman and directed by Kanishk Varma, this season, the stage is bigger, the stakes are higher and the game is more personal than ever.
Tanuj Virwani who plays one of the leads, the arrogant cricketer Vayu Raghavans in Inside Edge, couldn’t be happier. “I am very excited as along with being in the cast I am also a massive fan . We have attempted something different this time around so I’m cautiously optimistic that it shall resonate with the fans.”
Akshay Oberoi who plays one of the leads adds, “Very excited about the Inside Edge Season 3. The team is absolutely incredible. I also got to learn cricket from the best of the best. There’s a lot in store for my character and I can’t wait for the reactions to it.”
Karan Oberoi who plays the cine star Imtiaz Khan regrets the delay in the Inside Edge Season 3. “I am happy that’s it’s releasing , albeit a bit delayed . Would have preferred that it came earlier , since it was one of the shows that paved the way for the audiences to develop a taste for long format web content .
The fact that it was also nominated for Emmy’s is also a great testimony to its good content . Cricket is almost a religion for our country so any narrative that gives people an insight into that world that keeps the audiences invested .”
