Multi-starrers To Return In  2023

With A-listers  turning into ail-listers, failing to bring in the audience , it is time for the rigid trend of solo-hero films to end.

Multiple filmmakers  have told this writer that the era of solo hero starrers is over.

Every A-lister,  from the  Khan superstars to Akshay Kumar to Ajay Devgn insists  on going solo. But  the single-hero concept is  not obsolete. One of the  first filmmakers to realize this is Karan Johar. In  Karan Johar’s  Selfiee  and  Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, there are more than one leading man.

Selfiee is the  first  Akshay Kumar starrer in years to feature  another  hero  Emraan  Hashmi.

Hashmi also joins Salman Khan in Tiger 3.

The trickle of  multiple stars in 2023 is likely to turn into a torment in 2024.
