Ever since trouble broke out on location of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati there have been rumours of the film’s release on November 17 getting postponed.
However putting the rumours to rest, Ajit Andhare the COO , Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the producers ofPadmavati , says, “It is on schedule . There’s no postponement.”
Ajit Andhare also condemned the fundamentalists’ attack during the shooting of Padmavati stating, “This was a huge low in the relations between politics and creativity. As a society is this how we want to express ourselves? And that too when there isn’t even an iota of denigration in what’s being created. We are celebrating the glory of the Queen. We were dismayed at the ugly turn of events.”
The shooting of Padmavati is now on in various location of Maharashtra. The four principal actors Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Aditi Rao(she plays Ranveer’s wife) are unconditionally committed to completing Bhansali’s film before moving on to other projects.
