Pankaj Tripathi Returns To The Studios

Pankaj Tripathi finally stepped  out of  his isolation  at his residence in Madh Island to  resume work.

“I  went  out for  the  first time after the  lockdown  to do the dubbing for Mirzapur 2. The work atmosphere  felt very strange, Everyone was in masks, no hugs no warm greeting after so many months.Everyone is scared,” says Pankaj who will next be seen as Janhvi Kapoor’s  father  in  Netflix’s  Gunjan Saxena The Kargil Girl.

Pankaj is proud of  the way  Mirzapur has turned out.  “The sequel is sharper much more polished than the  first part.I don’t know when  it will be streamed. But there  is a  lot of  interest in  the  series.”

Pankaj likes to keep  himself away from the social medim. “It is a waste  of time  and  so much negativity is  spread.I’d rather  take long walks outside my house than spend  time on the phone. There are just 15 families  staying closeby to  where I  live. And long stretches of solitude to  explore.”
