Sydney Sweeney was spotted on a walk with her ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino in Los Angeles on April 7.
The two were photographed at Beverly Glen Deli, with PEOPLE reporting that they were together for an hour and then proceeded to leave together.
Dating rumors started swirling around Sweeney and Davino in 2018, and the two later got engaged in March 2022. However, In February, TMZ initially reported that Sweeney and Davino postponed their May wedding. And then on March 26, Us Weekly reported that the couple called off their wedding due to her busy schedule.
Sydney Sweeney Has Been Focusing On Work Since The End of Her Engagement
Following the end of her engagement, Sweeney has been putting all her focus into work, a source told PEOPLE on March 31.
“She’s exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She’s all about working right now and very excited about all her projects,” the source said.
Sweeney’s schedule is certainly very busy. She is working on a new season of Euphoria, starring in a movie adaptation of The Housemaid, set to portray boxer Christy Martin in a biopic, and will play Kim Novak in Colman Domingo’s directorial debut.
So, balancing all of this on top of her relationship that was reportedly on the rocks was what was causing her a lot of stress.
“What did make her overwhelmed though was her relationship and her wedding. She didn’t feel right about it,” the source explained to PEOPLE. They further described this time in her life as “this magical career that she could only dream of a few years ago,” and “because of that, “she wants to focus on right now.”
“She’s not ready to settle down,” the source added. “They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn’t split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”
A Lot Of Speculation Surrounding Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell’s Relationship
Sweeney and her “Anyone But You” co-star Glen Powell were spotted at a wedding together in Dallas at the beginning of April, which came just after she called off her wedding. Because of that, it led to a lot of speculation about their relationship and if there was anything romantic between to two.
