Aditi Rao Hydari In Mani Ratnam’s Next, Mani Ratnam Confirms

The very beautiful Aditi Rao Hydari is going places. She last seen in Chennai this week, setting all of Tamil Nadu’s imagination on fire wondering if she’s doing a Tamil film.

The answer is ,yes! Aditi was summoned to Chennai for a very secret audition for Mani Ratnam’s next film, an contemporary urban love story featuring Aditi with Karthi, the very talented younger brother of theTamil superstar Suriya.

Karthi is currently the favourite of all Tamil filmmakers after the success of his latest film Thozha.

While Aditi remained tightlipped about her prized role acquisition, Mani Ratnam confirmed Aditi’s casting to me when I asked him.

Mani’s last film, another urban love story Ok Kanmani(now being made into Hindi as OK Janu with AdityaRoy Kapoor and Shradha Kapoor) was a big hit.

The Aditi-Karthi rom-com is likely to be shot in Hindi and Tamil. Aditi who was last seen as Farhan Akhtar’s grieving wife in Wazir is on the look-out for that one project which would put her on top of the heroines’ roster.
