The Real Reason Why Amrita Singh Opted Out Of  Mubaraka

Amrita Singh at this juncture would rather focus on  her daughter Sara’s career than her own. This is the real reason she opted out of Anees Bazmi’s Mubaraka where she was teamed with her old buddy Anil Kapoor after a long time.

Says a friend of the actress, “The whole world knows Amrita and Saif’s daughter Sara is gearing up for her Bollywood debut. Amrita has opted out of Mubaraka , so she can focus on getting the right debut film for her daughter.She had recently signed a couple of films which she has now opted out of for her daughter’s sake.”

An additional reason for Amrita’s withdrawal from Mubaraka was the fact that she done something nearly identical in a  previous film.

Says the source, “Amrita had played the boisterous Punjabi mother to Arjun Kapoor in 2 States.She was again required to play the same role for the same actor in Mubaraka.She didn’t want to be typecast.”

When asked why she couldn’t do Anees Bazmi’s Mubaraka Amrita Singh said, “We couldn’t work out the dates. The dates needed for Mubaraka clashed with my personal commitments.”
