Are Deepika & Ranveer Getting Married At Lake Como In Italy?

Is  the Ranveer Singh-Deeepika Padukone marriage really happening at Italy’s Lake Como ?  Close friends  of the couple say the venue is  “undecided”.

“I haven’t heard anything about  Lake Como, though they are definitely getting married  in November-December. From what I gather  the wedding is likely to take  place  in  India, either Mumbai or Bengaluru,” says  a filmmaker-friend  of  couple.

At  the heart  of  the  wedding-venue  debate is  the  question of how  geo-political nationalism.

Apparently after Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli came  into  serious flak for  their  exotic NRI wedding, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja changed their  mind  about a foreign wedding and opted  for amchi Mumbai .

Says a  source in the know, “Italy was  discussed by Ranveer and Deepika as a possible venue for their wedding.  But it seems they may opt for a desi wedding to avoid being labeled un-Indian or whatever. However  the wedding will be lowkey and  the invitees restricted  to close family and friends  of the couple.”
