Arjun Kapoor Very Cautious  About Getting Bihari Character Right, Will Shoot In Patna

After the skepticism with which Alia Bhatt’s ‘Bihari’ accent and body language has been received , Arjun Kapoor who portrays a Bihari in Mohit Suri’s screen adaptation Chetan Bhagat’s Half Girlfriend is being very careful about how he plays the Bihari hero Madhav Jha .

Not only will Arjun study the speech and body language of the typical Bihari youth he has also persuaded his director to shoot portions  of the film in Patna where the novel is set.

In fact author Chetan Bhagat has been hobnobbing with the Bihar administration for permission to shoot Half Girlfriend in and around Patna and to ensure that the shooting goes well.

Revealing that he would be shooting in Bihar for Half Girlfriend  Arjun says, “I am now focusing  only onHalf Girlfriend in which I play a Bihari boy very far removed from the way Biharis are perceived in our films. He is an intelligent guy who plays basket ball. I am working on the accent and body language.”
