Harshvardhan Kapoor Is Dialogue-less As Mirzya
Harshvardhan Kapoor, the most promising debutant of 2016 actually treated his two characters in Mirzya as belonging to two different films.
Says a source close to the project, “Since the two roles he plays in Mirzya are not connected in any wayHarshvardhan worked on the characters as though they belonged to two different films. He developed a different body language and speech pattern for both the characters . He acted as though they were two different persons in two different films.”
Interestingly, there are no dialogues for Harshvardhan’s Mirzya.
“The entire saga of Mirzya and his ladylove Sahibaan unfolds without dialogues. Throughout the shooting of the love story no words were exchanged between the two onscreen lovers played by Harshvardhan Kapoor
This explains to some extent the reputation of the introverted recluse that Harshvardhan has acquired.
“He was not required to speak lines on camera. So Harshvardhan decided to stay mum off camera as well. The entire love story unfolds through Gulzar Saab’s poetry and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy’s songs,” says the source.
Says Harshvardhan, “I can’t reveal too much about my role in Miryza. But yes, it is a double role.My directorRakeysh Sir and I treated the characters as two distinct unrelated persons. It was like doing two different films. So technically I’ve done two films with one of the best directors of the country, and eager to do a third.”
