Is Nagarjuna Planning A Family Film With his Superstar Daughter-in-Law?

At the moment no one from Nagarjuna’s family has a very promising career to look forward to .Nagarjuna himself is reeling under the impact of the failure of his latest release Manmadhudu 2. The magnitude of the failure has taken Nag by complete surprise.Since he was the film’s producer the losses incurred at the boxoffice have directly hit Nag.

He is now looking at redeeming his home banner Annapurna Studios, and what better redemption than his daughter-in-law Samantha Prabhu Akinneni who is Telugu’s cinema’s no 1 heroine? After a slew of successes, Samantha is a certifiable superstar . In fact she played a cameo in Manmadudu 2 and , if reliable sources, are to be believed, she is all set to appear as the central character in Nagarjuna’s next production.

“It’s a masterstroke,” says the informed source. “Samantha’s superstardom has lately redeemed her husband Nag Chaitanya’s career with Majili. Now it’s Chaitanya’s father’s turn.”

While details of the project are still under wraps it is reliably learnt that Samnatha will feature in the central role, with Nag and Chaitanya in the cast.
