Khaali Peeli Rated One Of The Worst Films

 On the day after it  was  released   the Ishaan Khatter-Ananya Pandey  road film Khaali Peeli earned  only a  meager 1.7 /10  rating in  the  wordwide  film database  IMDB, making it one of  the worst rated  films in  recent times.

A  month ago it  was  Mahesh Bhatt’s Alia Bhatt-Sanjay Dutt starrer Sadak earning equally  terrible ratings on IMDB.

With Khaali Peeli the  problem  is compounded as  it  was the Zee Network’s first  Video On Demand(VOD)  product. This meant that the  customer paid Rs 299  to view  what is probably one of  the  worst-rated movies  in recent times.

While there is no immediate reaction to the  fiasco from the Zee Network, sources say the Zeeplex VOD plan may  be dropped entirely for future releases considering how  badly it has been received  by consumers.
