Most Sporting Ex- Of The Year, Harman Baweja Turns Up To Wish Priyanka Chopra

 Not many  former boyfriends  would do what Harman  Baweja did on Thursday evening when he headed  for Priyanka Chopra’s wedding  reception to wish her the  very best.

Baweja was  a devoted boyfriend to Priyanka  for a  good five years. In fact they were thinking of matrimony , when Priyanka  decided to move on. But before that she was as close to the  Baweja  parivar as can  be. In  2008 when Harman’s father producer HarryBaweja launched Harman  as a leading man  in Love Story 2050   the leading lady Kareena Kapoor opted out after shooting for a few days.

Priyanka  generously stepped in  as a last-minute replacement making space  in her  cluttered calendar.The relationship ended when Priyanka  became  involved  with Shahid Kapoor.

And  to  now see him bravely make his way into  Priyanka’s  wedding reception on December 20   makes him the  most graceful  ex-boyfriend  of  2018.

Says an  eyewitness, “Everyone was surprised  to see Harman there, knowing  his history with Priyanka.He  greeted  the couple warmly  spoke to them and  then left.It was  a gesture  that won hearts  that evening.”

Harman  who has been unlucky in love , what with his relationship with Priyanka and thenBipasha Basu drawing to a cruel halt, has also been  unlucky in his career. To top it all, his father producer Harry Baweja has been ill for a year .

We hope 2018 brings better  luck for the own-in-the-dumps affable (Har)man. Incidentally both Harman and  Imran Khan made their high-profile debut on the same  Friday in 2008 with Love Story  2050 and  Jaane Tu  Yaa Jaane Na, respectively.  Both went  into oblivion.
